A sea monster attacks a yacht, causing two passengers to disappear. Batman and Robin investigate, but the beast eludes them. Later, Simple Simon uses a whale balloon to steal from the docks and tries to take a prize at a winter festival, but is disarmed by Batman. He fears for his and Robin's secret identities.

Batman is a vigilante

Batman is a vigilante, an individual who works outside the realms of traditional law and order to fight crime. He is one of the oldest superheroes in comics and has appeared in a wide range of movies.

He is a crime fighter who fights against villains who are out to destroy Gotham City. He carries out this mission with the help of his sidekick Robin, butler Alfred Pennyworth and police commissioner Jim Gordon.

When he fights crime, it is to save people. He does this by being a vigilante who believes in his fellow man and encourages them to make the right decisions.

He has personal limits that he adheres to and this is what makes him successful in fighting crime. He is not a murderer and his motivations are to save the people of Gotham.

He is a master of disguise

Batman has a wide range of skills, from being the world's greatest detective to being an expert martial artist. But one of his most underrated abilities is the ability to disguise himself, allowing him to appear and disappear without fear of getting caught.

As such, he has Batman138 sported some rather absurd disguises throughout the years. This includes a recent appearance in Batman #108 where he tries to join an organization called the Unsanity Collective, which uses Mad Hatter tech to "reboot" willing participants.

The ruse works, as it distracts Henshaw and helps Superman and Batman defeat him. However, it's a bit too clever for its own good.

While Karlo can disguise himself physically, he's more of an actor than an actual master of disguise. He can imitate mannerisms and voices, but not his own.

He is a strong man

Batman is one of the most iconic superheroes of all time. He is a dark and unconventional vigilante who protects Gotham City and is a member of the Justice League.

However, like any hero, Batman also has weaknesses. Despite his skills and defensive techs, Batman is vulnerable to injuries or freezing due to his lack of inherent superpowers.

In the DC Universe, Batman is trained extensively in a variety of different fighting styles. These include Aikido, boxing, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, fencing, Gatka, Jeet Kune Do, Judo, Kalaripayattu, Karate, Kenjutsu, Kobudo, Krav Maga, Kyudo, Muay Thai, Ninjutsu, Pankration, Sambo, and Silat.

He is a licensed pilot

When it comes to Batman, flying is one of his many skills. He is a licensed pilot and has a Batplane which he uses to fight crime.

He is also an expert in interrogation techniques and is able to gather information from suspects and witnesses. He is a compassionate and empathetic person who does not want to harm or kill people.

Chris Van Dorn, 26, regularly dresses up as the Dark Knight to help rescue animals - and he is a certified animal transporter who has a special knack for flying them to their ‘furever’ home. He runs his own charity Batman4Paws, delivering cats and dogs from rescue centres to their new homes across the country.

He often flies with his sidekick dog Mr Boots. The 26-year-old says his love of superheroes came from watching the likes of Superman and Batman when he was growing up.
